Ford Explorer (2002-2005) fuses and relays

Cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses are the fuse №24 (Cigar lighter) in the Instrument panel fuse box, and fuses №7 (Power point #2), №9 (Power point #1) in the Engine compartment fuse box.


Fuse box location

Passenger compartment

The fuse panel is located below the instrument panel on the driver’s side.The location of the fuses in the passenger compartment: Ford Explorer (2002-2005)

Passenger compartment fuse panel (top side)

These relays are located on the reverse side of the passenger compartment fuse panel.

Pull the panel cover outward to access the fuses.

Engine compartment

The power distribution box is located in the engine compartment.The location of the fuses in the engine compartment: Ford Explorer (2002-2005)

Auxiliary relay box

The relay box is located on the front right fender well.

Rear Relay Box

The relay box is located on the rear passenger side quarter trim panel.
