This type is the most common in cars. There are six varieties: Micro2, Micro3, LP-mini (low-profile mini), Mini, Regular (ATO) and Maxi.
Provide increased time delay and low voltage drop to protect high current circuits and handle inrush currents.
The PAL short and long-legged fuse cartridges are designed for straight leg slot or bolt down fixing.
Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then must be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation.
Used for high current wiring protection.
Each fuse contains numbers that indicate the voltage (V) and amperage measured in amperes (A), above which fuses blow out. Each rated current value has its case color. The table below shows the correspondence of the color of the fuse to its rating.
