Citroën C8 (2009-2014) fuses

Information from the owner’s manuals of 2010 and 2013 (UK) is used. The location and function of fuses in cars produced at other times may differ.

Cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses in the Citroen C8 are the fuse №9 (Cigarette lighter) in the Instrument panel fuse box, and fuses №39 (12 V accessory socket row 3) and №40 (12 V accessory socket row 2) on the battery.


The fuse boxes are located in:
– the instrument panel lower glove box (right-hand side),
– the battery compartment (right-hand side floor),
– the engine compartment.

Open the lower glove box on the right-hand side, pull the handle to open the cover.

3 5 Airbag control unit.
4 10 Steering wheel angle sensor, Diagnostic socket, ESP sensor, Manual air conditioning, Clutch switch, Headlamp beam height, Particle emission filter pump, Electrochromatic interior mirror.
5 30 Electric mirrors, Passenger’s electric window motor, Sunroof row 1.
6 30 Front electric windows supply.
7 5 Courtesy lamps, Glove box lamp, Courtesy mirror lamps, Entertainment screen lamps row 2.
8 20 Multifunction display, Anti-theft alarm siren, Audio equipment, Compact disc changer, Audio/ telephone, Diesel additive control unit, Tyre under-inflation detection control unit, Sliding doors module control unit.
9 30 Cigarette lighter.
10 15 Steering wheel switching, Trailer fusebox.
11 15 Diagnostic socket, Ignition switch, Automatic gearbox (4-speed).
12 15 Driver’s seat memory unit, Passenger’s electric seat, Airbag control unit, Parking sensors control unit, Sliding side door buttons, Hands-free kit, Automatic gearbox (6-speed).
13 5 Engine fuse box, Trailer fusebox.
14 15 Rain sensor, Automatic air conditioning, Instrument panel, Sunroofs, Odometer warning lamps unit, Audio-telematics control.

It is located in the engine compartment, to the left of the coolant reservoir.

7 10 Braking system (ABS/ESP).
8 20 Starter control.
9 10 Main brake switch.
10 30 Fuel supply and air supply systems, Emission control systems.
11 40 Front air conditioning.
12 30 Windscreen wipers.
13 40 Built-in systems interface.
14 30 Not used.
15 30 Child lock locking/unlocking/deadlocking control.

Battery compartment fuses

Fuse box location

The fuses are located in the battery compartment, housed underneath the floor in front of the seat on the right-hand side.
