Citroën C4 (2004-2010) fuses

 

In this article, we consider the first-generation Citroën C4, produced from 2004 to 2010. Information from the owner’s manuals of 2004, 2008, 2009 and 2010 (UK) is used. The location and function of fuses in cars produced at other times may differ.

Cigar lighter (power outlet) fuses are the fuses F8 (Front 12V socket) and F9 (Cigar lighter / Rear 12V socket) in the Instrument panel fuse box.


Fuse box location

There are two fuseboxes under the dashboard, one fusebox in the engine compartment and another on the battery.

Dashboard fuse boxes

Left-hand drive vehicles:
It is located in the lower dashboard (left-hand side).

Right-hand drive vehicles:

To access the fuses below the dashboard, pull back the access cover, undo the screws a quarter turn and tilt the whole unit.

Engine compartment

To access the engine compartment fusebox, detach and remove the cover.
